Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to information collected through our website (intsam.org), during event registration, or information which you share with us offline. By choosing to visit and/or use our website (site), or share information with us offline, you agree to the terms and conditions explained below. In addition, please know that our policy is periodically updated and future use of our website indicates agreement with the policy in place at that time.

Thank you for choosing to be part of our community at International Samaritan (“we” “us” or “our”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy and encourage you to thoroughly read our policy. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy or how we use the information collected, please contact us at info@intsam.org.

Information We Collect

The personal information that we collect depends on the nature of your interaction with us and may include the following:

Name and contact data

We collect your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number, and similar contact data when shared (by you). We take express precautions to protect your information both online and offline.

We are the sole owners of the information collected online or offline. We collect information that you voluntarily give us via email, through an online form, or other direct contact from you. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any of your information with third parties outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. send you a newsletter, or to ship an order. In each case, we use secure third-parties to assist with this process.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate. We ask that you notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Payment data

We do not collect on our site the information needed to process the payment of donations or purchases, such as your payment instrument number or the security code associated with your payment instrument. Payment data is processed through a secure payment processing service, NeonCRM. Neon CRM is a secure site and is used in conjunction with Stripe payment processing for your safety. For more information, see the section of this policy entitled Use of Third Party Sites.

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 13 years of age. By using this site, you represent that you are at least 13 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to the minor/dependent’s use of our site.

Automatically Collected Site-visitor Data

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and clickstream data. This information is used to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track movement on our site and to gather demographic information about visitors to our site as a whole. This information is collected automatically and does not link to personal identity information.

Information is collected through cookies to create a “profile” of your preferences when visiting our site. This type of information is automatically collected and is never linked to your personal identity information or your donation history.

If you wish to disable cookies, you must change the settings on your browser. This may cause certain forms or surveys on our site to malfunction but will keep our site from creating a “profile” when you visit.

Legal Proceedings

We reserve the right to share your personal identity information where required by law and if we believe that sharing this information is necessary to protect our rights and/or in the case of a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website.
