Dear Friends,

Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits, taught that God is present and active in our world. This Ignatian spirituality affirms our mission, allowing us to see God in those suffering severe poverty and to respond with compassion and service.

Thanks to you, International Samaritan offers the desperately poor hope for a better future. Your support allowed our recent Nicaragua Medical Mission bring hope for better health to so many, by providing treatment for injuries and illnesses for which they otherwise would have no access. You helped comfort and care for our poorest brothers and sisters affirming the human dignity we share with them.

In his Prayer of Generosity, Ignatius asked the Lord to “…teach me to serve as you deserve; to give and not to count the cost… to labor and not to ask for reward, save that of knowing that I do your will.” As the New Year moves ahead, we pray for your good health and your continued support of His people, whom we serve together.

Yours in Christ,

Father Don Vettese, S.J. | Founder
