For the beneficiaries of International Samaritan programs, 2012 has been a great year. More than 200 volunteers traveled to various countries where I.S. is present, building classrooms and a library, fixing classrooms, and supporting I.S.’s schools, nurseries, and other programs.
This year, fifteen different institutions from all over the U.S. participated in International Samaritan’s Service Trips to the developing world. Among those participating institutions was St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Ann Arbor. The group, led by Jenniffer Delvaux, worked in the construction of two new classrooms for the Francisco School in Guatemala. The St. Francis of Assisi volunteers accomplished a great deal and have much to be proud of.
